Wonderful place to go when in Tadoussac. The climb up is demanding but doable and easier from the sides. When I went it was foggy and i could not see anything!! Camping is forbidden but it is tolerated.
We walked there from Tadoussac which was a good walk but beautiful. There is a little soap store on the way you can stop off at but we didnt so I cant say much about it. Not too much on route so make sure you bring water. It is definitely worth the visit. I would say a must see in Tadoussac. If I could go back I would pack a good lunch and spend the day. The sand is beautiful and the scenery is breath taking. Beware that going down the dune to get to the beach is quite a descent and going up is a little work out. But if your mobility is not the best just going and not going down the dunes is still worth the visit.
So beautiful peaceful and mesmerizing.... Don t try to sleep in your car or camp there though or you'll be woke up by (very nice) police officers very early... ;)
This place is a must see if you are in Tadoussac. Amazing scenery, bring binoculars. There are no services or shops available so be sure to bring water and lunch. We really wanted to camp here overnight in our RV but were warned against it.
Amazing spot..if you have binoculars, great whale watching point. Look for whale watching g boats,look for water spout s,then patiently wait, enjoy the tails and jumps. Fantastic view.
