We visited the last week of May prior to the bulk of places opening for the season and Cafe Boheme was an absolute gem I couldn't be happier with. The menu was clearly carefully curated with a fantastic daily offering (duck breast), the desserts were unique (chocolate+rosemary=love), and the server was so helpful with verifying details with the cook for my nut allergy. It was the perfect special evening while out exploring the area.
Both agreed this was the best meal of our 2-week trip to Quebec! Lovely relaxed atmosphere, delicious menu, fresh healthy ingredients and a warm welcome! I see some mentions of cost but it's 100% appropriately priced for the quality. Would give more than 5* if I could!
I really enjoyed this. It is fresh, local, and fine so of course it isnt a cheap meal but you get what you pay for. I had the red deer, it was very hearty and warming. Service was amazing and I found almost all servers bilingual and friendly. Just a response to some of the nasty comments this place is busy and you are in Quebec, which is French speaking. Even as a Canadian from the bordering province of Ontario, I would never expect the people of Quebec to speak English and do my best with what very little French I know. Do the same or go elsewhere. I waited a little bit for the food but that is because it is a popular place and the food is fresh made. If you want fast food, get fast food. Thanks, Ill be back! :)
This place is amazing. We stayed two nights in Tadoussac and only ate here (3 breakfasts and 2 dinners). After trying it on our first breakfast we decided not to risk going elsewhere. Everything we had was absolutely excellent. The pancake, crepe, croque-matin, and randonneur were great breakfast choices and the beef cheek, osso bucco, and omble-chevalier were amazing dinner choices. I would have loved to try their whole menu. Waiters were great, ambiance was amazing. Loved it, will come again and will recommend this place. Thank you!
